Most Mustang II front brake kits I see that use a Granada 11" Rotor space the wheel out an additional .500". How much of an issue is this? Can a wheel with additional inside offset compensate or will it hit the Caliper? The kits that keep the wheel in it's stock position are about twice as expensive.

Thoughts, experience?

I am running the granada rotors and have 17" wheels with the fronts at +25mm offset. I have no issues with anything hitting. Caliper isn't close to anything. The only problem most encounter is the rotor hitting the bottom arm at the ball joint. A couple of minutes with a 4 1/2" grinder fixes it. I also have 2" drop spindles which may have something to do with that. Incidentally, Street Rodder mag. had an article about someone making new GM calipers that this conversion uses with 50% bigger pistons for more braking power. Can't have too much brake!

Thanks. I am going to run the 2" drop spindles as well. I just didn't want any surprises after spending $$ on wheels and tires.
