Default unibody questions??

my mustang has a unibody and i was just curious of the pros and cons for them like is it better to have a regular or what? and what i have to worry about with a unibody?? i was told they werent as good as the ones with frames or whatever

All mustangs have a uni-body...

Just get some subframe connectors if your worried about body flex or anything. If your not racing I wouldn't worry. And theres nothing wrong with uni bodys alot of cars are and they are fine.

64 to 73 were framed so not all mustangs are uni-body

the cars got a lot of motor and people told me that the chassis could twist if i beat it hard

By adding subframe connectors, you strengthen the subframe which prevents tweeking from massive amounts of torque.
Don't get the bolt in type after awhile the holes where you bolted them to start to egg out and the bolts can come loose or break so get the weld in type.
Thats pretty much all you can do.

The original Mustangs and the Mustang II did not have a frame . They have a body is a intergrated part of (uni-body) the frame. There is no real problems with this set up under normal driving conditions .

1976 Cobra II, 302 CID, C4 auto trans. Blackjack headers, white with blue stripe and blue interior. Restoration and mod in process.
