I was just wondering if anyone has swapped out there power steering for a manual rack. I`m being told that I`ll get better steering response and more road feel than the mushy power steering.

I`m looking at this flaming river manual rack for mustang II`s and just curious if anyone has done this swap. Was it worth it? Do you wish you had your power steering back? Any info would be great.

I've never driven a II with power steering so I can't compare the two, but I do enjoy the amount of road feedback I get from my manual rack. I can tell how slippery the road is by how easy the wheel is to turn, a nice trick I learned last winter.
