theres a house plug on the end of a wire commin off my engine
i dont know what it is, or if i should plug it in or what
the end goin into the engine has what it looks like a 3 prong plug

What does the the other end look like. Is it tied into a heater hose or the bottom of the radiator?. Sometimes they are put in cars, especially in colder climates. You plug it in usually overnight. It's thermostatically controlled to keep the water temp at a set temperature. Then in the morning, you have instant heat on those cold winter days.

ok i just ran out to the car cuz i had a backup one n the glove
its heart shaped 3 prong plug and it plugs in under where my headers come out, and maybe 6 inchs on the inside of my oil filter
