Unhappy Removing Oil Pan

Hello, i have an oil leak on the top of my oil pan.
I think it's probably the gasket and i have to change it...

My question is :

It is necessary to remove the engine front support nut and raise it and place wood blocks between the engine front supports and chassis brackets....
This method scares me!!

Thanks to say to me if there is an another solution!!

My II is an V6 1974

Youll prob have to drop the Rack and pinion (remove bolts and steering shaft knuckle) lower it down, and lift the engine some with a hoist (preferred)

No problem, if i was you id look for a 2.8 turbo V-6 for your car, since they made them in europe, would be cool. i think they also had a 3.0 turbo
