I've recently found a 1988 2.3 Turbo that needs a rebuild. I was wondering if anyone has done this to a II before. Since it would be cheaper for me to buy and rebuild and add goodies to that engine and replace the tranny. Rather than build my Original 2.3. Anyone have any info or experience? Such as intercooler mounting, tranny options, etc.

There is some info on the stangII.net page about it in the tech support i think, and there are also places where people have put em in other cars... just have to google it. when ya rebuild it chk the head they are prone to stress cracks especially if they been over (boosted) pressured
