Mustang II Gas Cap

has any of you guys used any of this gas caps sell on ebay, eBay Motors: custom 1976 77 78 79 Mustang II running horse gas cap (item 180274070576 end time Jan-02-09 20:26:48 PST)

it looks nice but don't know if it works fine, the only thing is this cap won't come with key lock

is not a big thing since my stang remains most of the time on my garage

I was also looking at one for my cobra II but didn't want to spend that kind of money without any feedback on how it fits

. He also make a radiator cap with the same markings

. Would also like to hear if anyone has any experience with one.

They are nice but they don't lock. Hate to spend almost $60 dollars on something that someone can just walk off with.

It is nice. But I have to agree it may not last to long with no key to protect it from someone stealing it.

I sent him a email and asked him if he could make it will a key hole and lock. He said no.

I purchased one about 6 months ago from the seller on E Bay, I mailed the seller to ask if he could redesign it so that the COBRA faced forward instead of backwards. Within 2 weeks he made the design change and now offers both. Although it does not lock, since there are no other Mustang II's in Vegas I doubt anyone would steal it at the car shows I attend. So on a daily basis I use a locking cap when showing the car or on a cruise, I use the custom one. It is a High quality piece and very heavy, fit is perfect and it seals better than my locking cap.

hey StangII tnx for your feedback, now that I check some pics of the cap on your car ...looks great, as soon as I finish the leak of the radiator I'll go for one of those

.....hopes it fit on my 74'stang II and if not it really be pity

Why would you want a MII cap on a Ranchero?
