Hmm, I think they should bolt up with no problem at all-they are the same engine class-90 degree(Windsor). I would think they would be hard to find and I wonder about their flow capabilities though. I've never heard of anyone say it was a good thing to get 221 heads so I'm assuming that there's a good reason for it. I know the 221 and 260 are usually mentioned together-I think they had a different bore or something from the 289/302. Being the first run in that engine class I'm sure it had many shortcomings. I recommend finding 289 heads with small combustion chambers. |
