Default Looking for a more stylish grill, 1978 Mustang II

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this would be considered technical or not, sorry if not.

But, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a new grill for my 78. But i dont want the stock grill with the signals in it, i just want a solid grill, i am thinking of getting headlights from mustangsunlimited, that have the turn signals in the lights, and i wanna get a cleaner looking grill. I can go with or withought the mustang logo in it, preferably with, but if anyone knows of anywhere that i can get it, that ships to canada, let me know.

thanks in advance.

You can go with the billet grill like the F150 or expeditions has for the aftermarket or do like I am. I am getting the same wire mess that the chryslers are using on their 300's.

The billet grill that they have for the F150/Expedition, is exactly, what i want, but, i just dont know if i can get one for the mustang II. havent been able to find one. But iff all else faile, yeah i could always get the mesh thing going, i like that look too. still looks good. But i would really like the billet one...

The F150 grills are on line or in those cruisen mags for the low rider trucks. Most are under $100.

Very simple as I have done, measure your grill area, measure other vehicles at a new / used car lot they usually don't mind. Then buy a billet grille for that make, model and year and modify it to fit your car. It is usually pretty easy to cut with a dremell and adapt mounting points. I have done this on several customs.

You can buy those chrome grilles at Home depot or Lowes in chrome and cut them to fit (lighting defusers for flouresent fixtures). Adding a little heat to the very center will also allow you to angle them slightly to a V shape. I have done a few of these too, They are not honey comd but called egg crate in shape, they come in all different sizes, Black, white, chrome and gold. Very inexpensive, should be less than $24.00 depending on the size you buy.
