Default 1974-78 Mustang II, 2.8 v6, clutch set

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and look forward to talking w/ you about our projects.
Seems as though no one makes the clutch kit for the Mustang II 2.8,v6 anymore. Does anyone have info as to may supply obsolete parts for this set up or an acceptable replacement . Any advice except to get rid of the 2.8 will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug

Im not sure bout here in the states but the 2.3 4 cyl clutch fit my 2.0 V-6 in germany (yes they make 2.0 V-6's there along with 2.3,2.6,2.8, and 3.0) so maybe a 2.3 one will work..... im not sure.

If you can take your old clutch in and match it up to the 2.3 see how similar it is. might match might not.... maybe the US ****** that up to, (making parts interchange)

I have looked at the 2.3, 83-86 Mustang. It is 9 1/16" 10 spline/1 1/16" which is ok. Must II is 9.5". The cover for the 2.3 does not bolt up to the 2.8 fly wheel and the 2.3 fly wheel has a larger bolt pattern at the crank. The Bronco II flywheel will bolt to the crank but is too small for the 2.3 plate . My final solution then would be to re-tap the 2.8 flywheel for the 2.3 pressure plate. Just not sure the distance from the flywheel face to the backside plane of the cover is the same. ??
