Question Best Battery

Hi, I'm planning to put in some cool stereo on my Stang II, so I'm thinking to buy a car battery that can holds up my engine and my stereo, I hear the Stinger batteries are great, so don't know which will be my best option here, if a SPV35 or SPV44, these are the specs for both batteries.

SPV35:
Power Series 525Amp Battery
525Amps 5 Second Burst Power
<8mOhms = Fast Power Response
35Ah Rating

SPV44
Power Series 660Amp Battery
660Amps 5 Second Burst Power
<6mOhms = Fast Power Response
44Ah Rating

I would upgrade to a larger output alternator first. No matter how good of a battery you have if you can't keep it charged its still no good.

Yep If you cant put the AMPs back into your battery, the battery becomes as good as your alt.

I would go with a 100 amp alt from Summit Rancing or a Powermaster 100 amp . There are probably other 100 amp alt from some Ford porducts that would work, just don't know which ones .

Upgrade the alt and put a deep cycle battery in there if you need it.

Unless it will be a stand alone battery I would not recommend a deep cycle for a car.
Remeber the obvious, good guage wire with clean grounds on a 30 + year old car is a must. A bass coil to keep the thump up and make sure your voltage regulator is new and up to the task, otherwise you will be putting on a lightshow at night as well.
Good luck thump thump thump.
