Default super charging my ride

hey guys how's it going?
so here's where i'm at,
i just bout a 1977 mustang II.
it's a 4 cylinder,
4 speed,
manual.
i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions to help me unleash the inner beast?
is there any way to amp the car up to a 5 speed, 6 or 8 cylinder?

oh and before i forget, any good color ideas?
i'm gonna get a new paint job too.
right now it's a flat black color.
i'm thinking maybe like a yellow gloss.

~ Thanx

Since you could get the II with a V8 you can bolt one in . In fact there are some guys running 351 C/W. As for the 5 speed, don't know how much trouble that is as I as still and will be running a automatic .

This was a huge pain that my friend built...But it literally fries the tires off in first and second.... And they are wide tires! Ok and it's a Pinto but mostly the same engine bay. Thats a T-bird SC blower.

A 302 is not a simple drop in job. Your going to need a 8 inch rear end, A different transmission, and finally to put V8 springs in the front suspension.
