[78 & 80 Cobra]

I just purchased a rear louver for my 1978 cobra that came off a late year 1977 cobra . Can anyone tell me were the bottom of the louver attachments should be mounted. The top match the holes at the top of my hatch but the louver hangs down below the window and outside. Do they mount on the deck of the hatch .

Original Ford Mustang II louvers' hinges mounted above the rear window's upper molding. The lower latches mounted just below the rear window's bottom molding.
