Default c4 or t5 swap???

i have a 78 king cobra.
im building a late 80s 302 to swap currently.
its goin to have between 300-350 horses when im done.
question # 1:
will my bone stock c4 hold up to the greater hp?
#2:
how hard is it to swap the c4 to a t5?

if the c4 will hold ill just leave it be.
but if im gonna swap anything at all, i mite as well swap to the t5?
thanks.
dalton.

The c4 won't handle that much horses.U could have it rebuilt with better parts. As far as swaping to a t5,u will most likely have to swap driveshaft to.I not sure if it has anything electric on it.I did a tranny swap for a 77 cobra from a c3 to a c4 & had to have a shop make my driveshaft longer.U may have a different speedometer cable setup to.

Hello,
I am appreciate to you because to maintain your car from 80's.

That's really appreciable.
Now about matter.

i think before car swapping you should console this with some people or site [who is giving this type of service]. I hope you will get more benefit in your deal.

All the Best
