ive been looking around to try and figure out what size exhaust tubing i need to make a dual exhaust system. ive got headers that have a 3 inch diameter but that seems very large for a 302 engine (performance is average for the 302). i was thinking about 2 1/2 inch diameter but what size would you recommend? all the formulas i find seem to recommend at the max a 2 inch diameter which seems small to me. my main question is at what point would i try to downsize the exhaust pipes? for a muffler i was looking at something like this <http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=WLK-17554> unless i would be better off runing 2 mufflers. any help would be apreciated

if its a 302 id go 2 mufflers pref. flowmaster 40 series and 3in all the way back. this is what im running on my '00 mustang at the moment

I am running 2 flowmasters with 3in pipes all the way to the rear.
