Default 1978 Mustang-stumpy's frame rail conectors

hey got the sub frame connectors today the quality of work is great. but they are far from bolt in maybe my 78 mustang ii is designed different from the one they design these for but i need some input on how to get these to fit. i have include pics for you to see my dilema.
i have removed one small bump from the front of of the front frame rail i will weld 3/16 behind it but the bottom hump is getting me now i think i'll cut the conector to fit around it then weld it solid take look at the pics and tell me if that will be be fine or if you have a better idea
thanks for any help im stuck right now

Any way you look at it, custom fitting and fully welding them in is the best possible way to install them. You are on the right track.

Just remember to keep the weight on the suspension when installing the frame connectors, or you will have problems with door alignment.
