Default 1978 Mustang 5.0 Radiator

I need a radiator for my 78 302, it has a seperate trans cooler and im putting a 4 speed back in it, what other cars have a radiator (i dont care if it has tranny lines) that will fit into the area up there for a radiator, i dont want to spend the money on a new one or have to cut up my front too much.

The first-gen radiators for the 289 (65-67) are pretty close in size, but they're thinner, don't cool as well, and I belive the mounting tabs are on the opposite side (not sure, been awhile since I compared.)

New is the best option, bit incredibly expensive, your other option would be to have your current one rodded out or re-cored at a radiator shop.

the one i had was not any where near the right sixe, it was about a foot too wide and 5 inches to tall, but i found one in my garage that my dad had bought to go for his 1967 cougar xr7 but never used, and it fit awsome, so im glad i got that fixed
