Default Rag Joint help.......

Hey All,
I have a 74 mustang that needs a rag joint. I've found kits that have parts I don't need so I need to know the dimensions of the rag joint itself so I know what rubber disk to grab at the parts store. If you have the dimensions or the part number, please hook me up.

Thanks,
Ryan

Welcome to the site. The best way if your not sure is to take your old one off and take it with you.

Default rag joint

Are you opposed to an upgrade?
Flaming river universal joint at summitt racing.

Im not trying to plug the store but this will give you some more header room and a nice clean look.

Default need help too

Ryan,
Were you successful in replacing your rag joint? I'm kind of in the same boat but a different problem, hoping you can help me out. Replacing the rag joint on my 1976 cobra II. I've managed to get access to the joint, remove the 2 bolts, and swing the arm down. My question to you is how did you remove the 2 "rivets" that hold the two brackets on? I've heard of people drilling them out....Any method you found successful or easiest? What did you use to replace these two "rivets"? Thanks, Travis
