Question Wheel Offset and Back Spacing Questions

This is really starting to get on my nerves. I find a good looking set of 4 lug wheels in the proper bolt pattern. I have scoured threads and the internet to come up with our cars offset being 10mm and late model Foxes being 20mm. I want to know if it's better to go with more positive offset or more negative offset? The wheels I have found can be had as a 15 inch wheel, 8 inch width, 0mm offset, and 4.5 inch backspacing. Will these work without adverse effects? What tires would be recommended? I'm seriously pulling my hair out guys. I don't want to do a 5 lug swap and adapters are my last last resort. HELP!

This what we run on the rear with a 1/4 spacer.

Wheel, Auto Drag, Aluminum, Natural, 15 in. x 7 in., 4 x 4.25 in. Bolt Circle, 4.875 in. Backspace, With a G-60 15 M/T SS

This is how it looks on the car.

So 4.5 inch backspacing is not enough?

That should be fine, like I said we have to run a 1/4'' spacer to get the tire to clear the spring, so a little less back space should be good.

The rear are a bit more forgiving as far as back space is concerned, but for the front a backspace of 4" or less is needed and the overall hieght of the tire should not exceed 24.5". If you use anything more than 4" backspace in the front then spacers will need to be used.
BTW, I often call wheels (rims)and I dont like Hondas.

That is a good point about the front, I have run the same wheel on the front before with a 205-70-15 and a 1/4 spacer, but now run a 15x3.5 wheel on the front.

BTW, you can call wheels what ever you like, its all about how you want to be perceived.

Rims = ricer crowd/ car clueless... I guess they are the same....LOL
Custom wheels = hotrodder/real car people.

This is jmo

I always thought rims = the metal things that you bolt onto your axle and hold the tires.
And tires = the rubber things that (a) go flat in a rain storm (b) get put onto the rims.

Now, WHEELS = tires on rims. Further more, you cant just ride on your rims, and your tires go flat. But, if you dont have wheels. That means some %&@@&^$#$ just stole yer sh*t !!
