Default Exhaustive Help, PLEASE!!!

I've got a '74 II in which I have already installed a F.I. 5.0. My only sticking piont is exhaust: what can I use as far as manifolds or headers? I've got the factory manifolds, but it don't look like it's gonna happen. Please tell me specifically which car or brand name I need to get. Also, radiator information would be extremely helpful too as I'm just about ready to finish this thing. Man, the stories I got for y'all about this car are amazing! And I haven't even driven it yet.

Headman use to make a set for the II's but the 74 front end is smaller than 75-78 so if the stock V8 manifolds aren't going to work then you will have to get some custom made.

Time to break out the sledgehammer... you'll have to "clearance" the inner fender wells of a '74 to make anything fit in there with a 302.

$400+ a set and they still don't clear a '74's tighter clearances.

I used the stock manifolds on mine of the same conversion. I have a 78 though so it looks like with the other posts that the 74 is more limited. On the radiator question, try Modine. They still produce a replacement radiator for the II. They should be able to compare the dimensions of the 74 to the 75 up to see if they are the same or at least close enough to use. I read about guys putting 351's in their 74's so I know it can be done. Im glad I based on the 78. It was problems enough. What year FI are you putting in. Be careful closing the hood for the first time if you have the EGR with water lines. You can get a nasty dimple on your hood with those things.
