Guys, i have some good news for the MII community, we will open a "home page" for Mustang II owners, will have specific MII information: news, tech, products, gallery, feature rides, etc, etc.

The page will look almost like our current home page but with only MII related material.

BUT.. we will need your help to fill it up.

To get things rolling, we will have a SUBMIT article page, so that you MII owners can share your knowledge and news.

The same principle will be used to create model specific homes for S197, SN95, Fox and Classics.

It wont take long, and will be kinda empty when we launch, so get those keyboards busy to roll some news and articles.

I am going to go with a 2.3L turbo out of a svo, turbo coupe or any other car that has one. So thats one idea and a v8 is also a good idea. You could do a 351 but thats a little bit of work cause you gotta make room. If you wanna do that go to mustangii.net they have instructions on what you got to do.

Default Mustang II ignition switch

I am using the running gear from a 1977 MustangII in a 1941 Ford street rod including the steering coulum. The engine is a 302 efi from a 1990 Crown Victoria with an aftermarket wiring harness. The harness requires a connection to the ignition switch that is hot during run and start. Is the red/litblue wire from the switch to the coil hot during start? Logic tells me it should be but mine isn't, nor are any of the other wires from the switch. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hey, does anyone know if the 4 bolt wheels off the Fox-based Mustang will fit the Mustang II? I know they are 14" but they might fit under the fenders... (if they match that is)

Default I have a question and fill this sucker up, Ignition problem

I have a 1978 mustang II that was has always had a hard time starting because there was no choke on my Holly 600CFM. Well I bought an electric choke but noticed the car started not doing anything when I turned the key. I thought it was maybe a fuse so I pressed the break, turned on my hazard lights and dome light and still i got nothing. I ran the hot wire of the electric starter to the hot wire located in the ignition wires. Than I changed my mind put the orange wire back together and attached the hot wire of my electric choke to the hot wire of the windshield wipers. Well before i even cut the orange wire on the ignition wires it was not doing anything when i turned the key forward. It was turning just fine the day before and even that day before i installed he electric choke. I have checked the starter and the battery at the auto store. I have a new starter cylinoid and replaced the ignition key switch and the ignition switch located on the top of the steering colomn. I need some help huys. I hope someone is familiar with this problem. Thanks in advance.
