Ok, lets take this step by step, if you'd be so kind

I just recieved the MII specific motor and trans mounts today(D7ZZ6038A)...ect

I wasn't aware that the MII oil pan would be necessary, and that may put a little damper in my engine swap plans because i'd really rather not have to search high and low for the OEM oil pan. Do you happen to know of a source that would sell reproduction oil pans or other years of mustangs that would have a suitable oil pan to substitute for the MII specific one???

Any idea if my stock auto trans would bolt up to a '94 5.0???

As for the original accessories i was wondering if it would be possible to somehow adapt the '94 PS/PB to fit my system. The reason i keep asking about the '94 is because i will probably be getting the entire car to use as a donor, but am unsure which parts would be able to swap over

If i do have to use the V8 MII bracketry and pullies I'm not too woried about not having room for the radiator because i'm confident i can relocate it to the front of the original mounting place, where my A/C condensor used to be.

If i don't use the MII belhousing, any idea if the entire '94 5.0 engine and trans will fit, if not how much 'massaging' will i have to do w/a sledgehammer. Any mounting issues regarding the trans, using the MII trans mount???

I will definately be looking into subframe connectors as suggested. It's not a t-top or hatch though, it's a ghia.

I'm also not that concerned about switching to EFI even though it'll make the entire thing a bit more complicated. In case you can't tell I'm a little impatient about having to search for different parts everywhere, but when it comes to actual assembly I have no problem taking as much time as i need to.

If i do end up sticking w/the stock 2.8 v6, any idea what kind of gains i could expect by getting this intake manifold w/a new carb(suggestions on possible carbs appreciated).

These are just the questions i could think of right now, but i'm sure there will be many more coming soon, any help is greatly appreciated

That Offenhauser intake, along with either a Holley 390cfm 4-bbl. (using vacuum secondaries and electric choke, best overall choice) or Holley 450cfm 4-bbl.(chokeless with mechanical secondaries, it'd be tempermental in cold weather, and I'd really only recommend it if you ported your heads and ran headers and a healthier cam) will give you a pretty healthy performance boost, as well as improve your gas mileage with a light foot, or destroy it with a heavy foot. I had a friend in high school with Ford Courier pickup with a 2.8 with the Offy 4-bbl. intake for it and a 390cfm Holley, we roasted the tires constantly and embarrassed the daylights out of sports cars on the interstate when he'd drop it into 3rd and floor it.

Oh, you've got a PM too.

Hey, glad to see another mustang II member from the Sun City. Give me a call @ 204-8135. But the engine setup that you go with is completely up to you and what you are trying to get out of it.
