Default Mustang 8"" Rear ends!

I have a mustang || with a 8'' rear end under it how hard would it be to pull the rear end out???? An could i mess nething up while doin it ive never took a ford apart. Im gone have somebody else replace tha gears that i have for it.But i think all u have to do is pull the axles out a then just drop out tha rear end is that rite??????? nemore imfo???????

Yes that is correct. There are 4 bolts and nuts holding the axles in place. Once out you can take the pumkin out. not a very hard thing to do.

Put a big 'ol 9 inch rear end...that would look ballzy..

ya take the axles out then the front part of the differential will come out but be carefull because it does weigh quite a bit also sometimes the axels will give you soem trouble when taking them out bolt the drum on backwards and gently hammer the drum while spinning the axel and it should losen up and come out just a heads up and have fun
