Default 6.75'' rear end swap to an 8'' rear end

Is this a direct swap or will I need any additional parts or modifications?
(for example, brake rerouting, or longer/shorter driveshaft)

As near as I've been able to find out it's a pretty direct swap. My car was a factory 8" car though, so I can't speak from expirience.

Default swap

Bolts right in, everything fits the same. The hose for the brakes has a larger hole in it where it bolts to the rear end on the 8", as long as you got that with the rear end, it will fit on the hard line. The breather for the 8" is bigger than the 6 3/4, that's why the hose has a bigger hole.
