 1977 mustang II rack & pinion length
Hi Guys, can anyone help me with some tech specs. I have a front end that looks to have been modified and would like to check it against a standard/stock front end. I need the rack and pinion length from the ends under the boots that enclose the inner tie rod ball, that is from one end to the other. That will give me the rack length regardless of any mods to the housing or ends. Also the total length from tie rod to tie rod as a secondary check (about 45") to see if the rods have been altered. Also can someone give me the dimension from shock tower to shock tower measured from the centre of the shock upper stud or the stud hole if no shocks in place. It would be easier to measure if someone has a dismantled or work in progress where the front sheet metal and motor have been removed. Any help would be appreciated.
