First of all, the timing shouuld not be tdc. I just did the timing on my car, same year and engine, not 1 week ago. You should adjust your timing while your car is ideling at 700rpm. Curb idle is 850rpm, so you'll have to tone it down a little. Next, you should be sparking 6 deg. btdc (before top dead center). That could be why your car is running like poo. If when you turn your car off, it shakes, that is because you have pitons that are finishing their strkes, so it fires a little more. This would have a huge impacte on how it runs. |
