Default WHERE Does This Vacuum Hose Go?? (pic)

Hi Everyone -

I bought this Cobra II (302) and had the carb rebuilt. I'm putting it back together and I've come up with an extra vacuum hose (wtf?). I can't find anywhere where it would go. I've attached a pic which should clearly identify which one it is.

While I haven't done any adjustments (I will), I did take it around the block and had some stalling issues (which is one reason I had the carb rebuilt). I also had transmission shifting issues. Is this hose the one which controls the tranny (A) shifting?

Please, please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

That hose goes from a Vacuum canister in the fender to the carburetor. Check all around the base of the carburetor and intake manifold for a bare fitting. Thats where it most likely came from.

I'm not really familiar with transmissions but I think it could be the clutches your tranny are going bad.

Cant see where its coming from in the pic. If it is coming from underneath the firewall along the transmission it most likely is for the transmission.
