[STANG II]

Does anyone know if these are the correct motor mounts for the Mustang II V8. Mine are shot and these are still available new but are not listed for 74 -78, they look correct to me but unfortunately due to a recent injury, I am unable to crawl under the car for a good look. So I was thinking someone here can look or has replaced them before.

I know those fit the 66-68 model, I'm not sure you could use those. Here's a thread about the same subject.

Yea I have read it thanks, I just can't believe that such a simple piece as a mount can't be replaced. The mounts are fine the rubber is just rotted. I can't believe that they can't be rebuilt?

There is a guy on MustangII.net (bstang71) that has a connection to get rebuild kits for them; I haven't done it yet as I have one good set on my V8 car and two good used sets stashed and waiting for when that first set wears out.

I'm not sure if bstang71 is still doing the kits, but it couldn't hurt to Email him and find out... $85 for rebuild kits isn't bad at all, (I paid $100 and $185 for my sets of used mounts respectively) and I've bought parts from him before (in fact, the seat belts I bought from him are the reason my '76 is street legal) and he's a good guy.

I will try him. Yesterday I did a deep search of the w.w.w. and found a NOS website that listed the mounts as in stock. I emailed them for a price and got my answer today $350.00 . Hyway robbery, I hate when people try to take advantage of others, oh that price did not include shipping.
