A can of B12 Chemtool carburetor cleaner (in the spray can) works wonders for cleaning small carburetor pieces if you dissasemble the carburetor (I'd get a rebuild kit and replace the gaskets and make sure your float is still working properly and set right) and a can of the B12 Chemtool pour-in cleaner for your gas tank every once in awhile will keep it all working well once you get it working. If you need to,you can use a small needle to poke through built-up deposits in the nozzles within the carburetor when cleaning the parts.
