Default Saleen S7

Did anyone catch the Barrett Jackson auction today? The very first prototype S7 netted $400,000 dollars!!!! I was thinking of bidding but was alittle short, about $399,000 dollars, just pocket change right?!!
There also was a 65 road racer Mustang restored by Bill Elliot's company. They over restored it as it now makes more horsepower than it originally did. Hows 400HP from a 289 with webers sound, with no power adders I might add. This sold for $100,000 dollars. Also an original 427 Shelby Cobra, my dream car sold for over $250,000.
All I can do is dream, dream, dream, and thats free. Any other dreamers out there? Frank

Better start buying those lottery tickets now. Who knows, for a simple donation to your local lottery and you could be driving that dream car. As for me, my dream is just to get my car fixed to where I can go out an get groceries with it. Once I learn how to do that, maybe then I'll start dreaming about those little cherries.

I caught parts of the auction.

I saw a 66 GT-40 go for $375,000 and another reach $310,000 but had a reserve of $350,000.

What about that 57 Fairlane wagon? I forget what they named it, but it went for $114,000

Must be nice to have all that money to spend on toys!
