If BBQ is an options I am sure we could work out the food details!! Potluck types style from the AZ people?? Just a thought and BYOM,,,bring your own meat lol
April is out, May/June would be ideal. Potluck, I'm bringing some local babybacks.
Depends on which way you travel. If you come through I think 95 it will bypass Phoenix and take you through Prescott. We are about 1 hour form the outer edge of Phoenix!

Sedona's about 2-3 hours north of the Phoenix area (depending from where in Phoenix). I'm down for anything really, only thing going for me in April is a concert here in Phoenix, and I'm going to Fabulous Fords in California from the 18-20th.
It's probably going to be fairly warm in May also. Its warming up pretty quickly right now...

From my house to Happy Valley Rd is 1 hour. All freeway, once you get into town, Phoenix, that would depend on traffic. Thankfully with all the outer loops travel is easier.

Power in the hands of a few
How is the weather in September? We would love to come in Spring but we have quite a few commitments already. Obviously that would stop any of the rest of you getting together if that works best for everyone but Anja and I were thinking September would be good. The way time flies that's pretty much right around the corner.
As we're making it a full-blown road trip we're thinking we're going to play tourist and hit the Grand Canyon as well. We'd be up for a meet in the Phoenix area or Sedona. Anja has a friend in Phoenix so we'll definately be in that neck of the woods.
Maybe that time frame would be better weather-wise and might give everyone a chance to plan.
Just throwin' it out there...
Snack

We go camping on Labor day at the Grand Canyon! Hmmmm Option??? Big group site? Have to have reservations on July 1st or they are gone. Otherwise we can all get our own spots and just hook up??? Option there too.
Meet in Sedona, BBQ and cruise Oak Creek Canyon??

My wife isn't a girlygirl by any means but her idea of roughing it is a gravel road to the Holiday Inn.
I'm really liking the idea of the beauty of Sedona. Some good food and a little cruise would be awesome. I think the photo ops would be tremendous.
