Default Any Kimber owners out there?

I finally bit the bullet on Saturday and purchased a Kimber Ultra Classic 2 .

I ended up trading my S&W .45acp and a hungarian Makarov for it but left with a brand new in the box, never been fired Kimber 1911. It is one bad a$$ handgun.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a Kimber Forum?

I own the Kimber CDP PRO, and the PRO ELITE.They are series 1 45 caliber. I love them both.My favorite 45 is the Valtro made by John Jardine. For the money it is hard to beat a Kimber.

I just bought a new Kimber Pro Tactical II a while ago. Very happy with it. Has a four inch barrel and is extremely accurate. There is a 1911 forums you can check out. Just go to 1911 Forums.

Those are very nice, and easy to conceal if you have a carry permit.

That is what it is used for. Working on my CCW as we speak. I think it is really possible to get it.

I got my CCW 3 years ago. Here in VA it was very easy to obtain, and cheap, too. I have never owned or fired a Kimber, but I have always heard good things. For 1911, I have the Colt, but I hear the Kimber performs better.

This is my first Kimber and am thrilled with it. I also own a Glock 21 in .45 caliber and I like that also but the Kimber just shoots so smooth and accurate. I am thinking about buying another one.

Jim, another 45 you might be interested in is the XD45. It has 14 round capacity fully loaded. It's also surprisingly accurate and has been very reliable for me.

Jim if you can find a series 1 Kimber. This series 1 Kimbers where made with the old safeties ,before Clinton put the ban on them. The Kimber Warrior is the same as the series 1. The Raptor is very nice also it just has the series 2 safety. The PRO ELITE series 1 is IMO the best Kimber ever made. The CDP`S second. Gunbroker.com has them from time to time.

I have a KIMBER on my wishlist, but in the meantime I settle for my XD9SC. I am waiting on Springfield to come out with the XD 45 in a Sub Compact form which I have heard rumr of.
