Ok i decided not to buy my friends pile of subs and looked around on CrutchField for sum...this is what ive come out with so far

2 x Rockford Fosgate P1S415
Punch Stage 1 15" 4-Ohm Subwoofer
Rockford Fosgate P1S415 Punch Stage 1 15" 4-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com
two of those for $150...good deal saving $110 and good subs according to alot of ppl.

Now i need to decide on an Amp !
and i cant decide..
so ima list a few that I think arent bad...but i dont know much about all this crap like channels, RMS, Ohms and junk....so help me out...
I also got a friend here whose good at all this so he'll tell me what he thinks too...

Rockford Fosgate Punch P2502
2-channel car amplifier
60 watts RMS x 2
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=120&i=575P2502&tp=115
Rockford Fosgate Punch P325.2
2-channel car amplifier
80 watts RMS x 2
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=120&i=575P3252&tp=115
Rockford Fosgate Punch P200-2
2-channel car amplifier
50 watts RMS x 2
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=120&i=575P2002P&tp=115
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400-2
2-channel car amplifier
100 watts RMS x 2
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400-2 2-channel car amplifier 100 watts RMS x 2 at Crutchfield.com

Im sure the last one is what alot of u guys are gonna say....in order to pump out more power....but yea....what u guys think
if theres any other kind of amp out there that u think is beter for below $250 or so.....let me know...i listed those cause they're all in the same brand as the subs...
so thanks in advanced for all the help

P.S.
dont forget these are gonna go into a 94 Ford Mustang hehehe.....Im planning on building a cutom box thatll be tilted..so yea

Rockford makes great subs and amps-they've never done me wrong. Those 15" subs are the entry level Rockfords though and don't handle that much power which is why they are so cheap. Also, I don't think you'll have enough room for 2 15" in your car and are only really good for high power systems which you don't seem to be looking at(a lot more $). They aren't very efficient subs and 12" or 10 " subs would be a better choice maybe 2 in a sealed box with a moderate amp for power. RMS is the actual power to be expected from an amp continuously. Peak is a wasteful measurement of power output-pay no attention to peak as it on'y gives you the maximum amount of power it can produce at a quick burst of power which can't be sustained. Match the RMS with what the subs can handle.

Check the power handling of the subs and make sure you don't buy an amp with an RMS output rating that is greater than that #. Don't forget you have to put those 15's in a box! I am almost positive you won't fit them in there but measure it and find out. Profile were the cheapest amps we sold and overheated when heavily taxed. You can usually tell what a good amp is by how they rate the power handling. If they stress paek power then stay away. If they stress RMS it is probably a decent brand.

Sounds reasonable. Like anything else in this world-the more you spend the more you get for your $, usually. Or in this case the more bucks the more boom. You can get a very decent system as long as you buy quality over size or power. Even a large sub or "powerful" amp will start distorting badly at higher volume levels if they are inferior quality stuff. Also, look into JL and Infinity Kappa.

JL and Infinity Kappa what ?Amps or Subs ?
or both ?..

Edit: ok looked at IK and a lil too expensive....$179 each :\...im sure they kick ass but a lil pricey for me ...i want two and an amp...and Jl....cheapest were $99 each for 8" which isnt too bad..but i could find better deals.... I USED to have Alpins SWE type-E lined up...cheap lil things but i heard good things....i heard that type-S is better though?

And now that im looking at more RF things almost all their stuff has sum kind of deal wit them like buy one get one or buy one get one half off......wonder why :\.........oh well.
i think i might stick with the RF 10 or 12s 4-ohm.....til i get more voices in here....
but i still need an amp.....

Polks are very good too. Polk would be on the upper ends of quality. When buying subs generally you should look for rubber surrounds and plastic cones. Also, make sure the speakers have a high sensitivity rating measured in db to use as much of the wattage your amp is sending them.

JL and Infinity Kappa for both amps and subs, though I would highly recommend Rockford for an amp no matter what sub you get.

Do you want bass or mids? Stay away from infinity and entry level fosgate consider frequency response with your sub purchase...
