What the hell did you just say? Serriously read it next time...LOL If Wax only lasts a few days under blazing hot sun, Then why would you forget to remove it all??????? I believe the question was about washing and waxing the car, not a full on detail job. So yes if you are washing and waxing the car every day there will be wax buildup. You then will trap the older layers of wax under the new, which will in turn your paint into pure oxidation.
Been there, done that! My first car a '83 Mustang GLX sedan/notch with metallic blue paint. I was in the Army and washed the car everyday! Waxed it every weekend. The paint was new when I bought the car, after 18 months in Colorado Springs the paint was DEAD! Oxidized beyond repair, I tried rubbing compound, polishing compound everything, but it was only a temporary fix. After a month the paint was dull and ugly again. So unless Mr. Roberts is getting the a different grade of wax over there "in the most corrosive part of North America" Buildup kills paint
