I to am a female and love my 2005 GT its a 5 speed manual. The only mod I have right now it my hurst shifter. on the way is CAI, mac exhaust , pulley, and a tune. hoping to get 300hp to the wheels

Im a girl and I would have to say GT's are chick cars lol. I bought my mustang for the track

. May run a 15.7 now but once i put all the mods on it, it wont. I personally LOVE the old lx foxbody's.

Yeap, I just purchased my first mustang a little over a year ago. (I know, I know transamgurl but I had to use something I would remember!) Wouldn't have anything with less than 8 cylinders! I try to do my own work but my brother usually does most of it, I just finance it! He is more a of a gear head than I am. I know just enough to get me in trouble.....

I love it when the guys here in Houston pull up next to me.....rev their engine and are suprised that I'll run 'em in a heartbeat, win or loose.

Any of you women out there have this happen to you? You pull into a parking lot and you can see the guys heads turn...you roll through with a slight rumble til you find the right spot and pull in...shut the car off and get out and see their eyes light up cause you are a GIRL!

I have had this happen to me a few times and I love it! I just can't get over their expressions!

Oh and something a little simular happened to me last saturday. We went to a show and shine held by a downtown Ford dealer and I was looking at a guys Stang GT cause there was some custom work done to the engine and interior and what comes out of his mouth but... "you need one of these. They are great cars and have enough room for the kids." I said to him "we don't have any kids and are not having any not just that but I already have a Stang, I was just checkin out your mods". He stopped dead in his tracks. "Oh you have a Stang already?" Then my husband piped up and said "Yah we both have one". Well the conversation changed to his mods after that.

Welcome to AFM!!! It very much has its advantages being a woman and owing a Mustang. It's a heck of a lot of fun!

My husband and I don't have children either - purely by choice. We both enjoy our hobbies and are a bit selfish that way.... So I feel for ya!!!

LOL yeah I get it too, I'm a dispatcher at a Honda dealership in Houston, its ME against these little guys with the Civic SI's woo-whoo I laugh I've got more torque on my freaking oil pans bolts than they do coming from their engine!
