Hey all, So for the longest time I have wanted to go to a race school and I finally got off my butt and looked into it and found this one that looks sweet and if I can save up enough cash I am definatly wanting to go. Just wondering what all you think about it as far as cost and what you get.

That's a great idea Ponyboy Racing school's will teach you
more than you think. These school's are really for the inexperienced
driver really but,if you want to learn how to race it's awesome idea.
After they teach you you will know how to handle your V6 Ponyboy.
Driving school's are a great idea no matter what your skill level is. Many of the pro racers out there attend the schools to help hone their skills. You can't go wrong by attending one.
I have not heard of the school you have picked, but the price sounds about right for that type of training. Keep checking around to make sure you have a good school.

Those driving school can be cool. Some can even qualify for an insurance discount if they cover some defensive driving stuff.
There are some places where you can drive detuned stock cars too.
The other thing is for $4k you could probably buy some go carts and race every weekend beating the pi## out of a cart and have a TON of fun. I know a couple of guys that owned 911's....got a bunch of tickets.....sold the cars and bought some carts and some smaller SUV's and get their adrenaline rush on the track now every weekend and are happier for it.
One other thing $4k is might be half of what it would take to get a mediocre car and race in the Camaro/Mustang Challenge.

well seeing as how my 5th gear syncro is on it's way out......... I would just get it fixed by the dealer under warentee but I heard that it will just come back and break again so I am probably going to just get a 6 spd and swap it out with a clutch, fly wheel and stuff for my next mod meaning that all my go faster mods will be pushed back behind schedual. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
BTW does anyone know where I can get a money tree?
