NOT! You'll pay way too much. Go to an electronic surplus store. Get the ones made by "Mode Electronics" make sure that they are the high bright LED's that are 600MCD or brighter (you'll need 50 per side min.). Or get the super bright LED's that are about 1000-3000mcd (you'll need about 10per side min.)
Don't run them without a regulated current limiter. Or they'll burn out in seconds. If you need more info I've bult LED displays before. Drop me a PM
