Default help on aluminum drive shaft

Hi guys i was just wondering if a aluminum drive shaft is worth getting
and if it help on performance how does it help.

yes... some say about 5 hp. its lighter and frees up your rotating mass.

i keep hearing you can install those on teh early model stangs in under 15 min.. .true or not?

on the late bory ones you can. it took me about 30 minutes because all I have was a little olde 9 inch long key and had to tap away with a hammer......

Home made CAI, Pro 5.0, Steeda clutch adjuster kit, Raised gass pedal, GT take off's, white gauge face, Aluminum pedals, Aluminum driveshaft, underdrive pully, 03 cobra IRS with bushings and rear steer kit, 10th ann. Cobra rims wrapped in 275 Eagle F1's, 3/8 intake spacer.

took me 30 minutes to install mine... including the time to jack it up, and 5 min wait time for the rust eater to 'eat away' at the bolts on the stock driveshaft | u-joint connector.

yes, its worth it very much so.... rotational mass is the best weight reduction. and its balanced much better, so there's less vibration at higher speeds.
