hey all, i just wanted to hear some feedback on what you (those of you in colder climates) are driving for winter. love it? hate it? whats up?
myself, i'm driving a trailblazer and god do i hate it. its big, its sluggish, it is horrible on gas, and i hate how it accelerates, when i press the accelerator, it is SUUUUPER slow, until the pedal gets to a certain point, and the thing takes off like a bat out of hell (the bat out of hell part is relative to the previous, slow speed of course). my head hits the roof, the brakes feel squishy, and the interior is just downright ugly and uncomfortable. the only good thing about it is it has new tires, so it eats snow for breakfast. lets just say i cant wait until spring

with all the rain around here recently I had to park the Girl indoors at an in-laws garage (still needs cowl work and window seals, leaks water when it rains) so i am having to drive the beast, my '98 Tahoe or if i'm lucky the 2000 New Bug TDI. the beast has great room with some power, but as the accelerator moves up the fuel gauge moves down!! the TDI gets over 40 mpg and has pep but no room...i miss my stang!!!

Ive been driving my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport aptly named Killdozer with the 4.0L V6. The car is a beast machine! it is quick, powerful, and has great suspension and ride quality. I love that car and I might turn it into an off roader but it sure isn't a Mustang GT

I drive my mustang. I equipped it with snows and i did thorough rust proofing on the underbody of the car, the bottom of the doors, and I take it to wash often to remove salt
i have snow tires on my mustang and drive it all year. It's like a tank with the snow tires and traction control. Plus, you can have fun in the snow and break the rear loose whenever you want. Brings a new meaning to snow drift haha.

I drive my Stang... It was made to be driven! Not to be stored!!! Doesn't take away the fact the temps here are around freezing, and the skies are clear (no snow, just cold).
