I've always named my cars. This one is "Red Horse" (go figure).
Along the way there have been Blinkengerber, Thunder Chicken (T-Chick), Red Wreck, Red Mess, Green Goddess, Lungfish, Lewis & Clark (as in Expedition).
Not that I use it much but it's name is George....due to the fact it took so many "Georges" to get it!!!

I thought there was a long-standing man-rule that you don't name your own car. Somebody else has to do it for you (friends, family, etc.). Anyway, ours is named "Muffin Top", Muffin for short. Story begins that I had a 2004 sonic blue GT 40th anniv package, beautiful car. We had a really nice car cover as it sat in the driveway in the weather (my garage is not usable, another story). Anyway, wifey and I decided to go shopping for a 04 Cobra Terminator because, well, because that would be awesome. Couldn't find one. Shortly after Ford announces the Shelby GT500 is coming. We signed up on the waiting list at 3 different dealers. Months and months go by until they are starting to take orders. The stealerships call (each one of them) and tells me my 10 months as #1 on the waiting list earned me the right to bid for one, starting at $10k over list. A big screw-you is my response. Wifey and I hit the road again looking for a Terminator. She spies the Screaming Yellow Roush and it's game over. We bought it within a couple of hours. Now, finally, the name.... We get it home, as everyone knows the S197 is slightly larger than the SN95. My nice car-cover fits over the top and partway down the sides, but doesn't quite reach the bottom. I have Screaming Yellow Stang hanging out the bottom all the way around. Looks like a fat-chick in a tube-top my eldest (smarta**) son says. Neighbor (drives a turbocharged Sentra named 'Scooter') chips in with - yeah, it's a Muffin Top! Here ends the story. And that's all I have to say about that......
