When I'm called home to Heaven I want to be compressed into a 3'x7'x3' with me inside. All my organs will donated to research and to help those they can. I will be carried by an Honor Guard with Old Glory draped over the top.
I thought there was a long-standing man-rule that you don't name your own car. Somebody else has to do it for you (friends, family, etc.).
Not necessarily, I have named a lot of my cars and a few I have never named. I can't remember anyone ever coming up with a name for one of my cars. You have to drive one for several months to get to know the car and its personality. I have discovered that you can have two near identical cars and after driving them for a while, you will find they have different personalities. They are the same as children or pets, no two are alike. I learned this when I had a new car stolen and when recovered it was totaled and replaced with a new near identical one. The two cars had totally different personalities. If you drive one long enough, a name will soon pop up for that car that fits the car. I said above that some of my cars I had never named, that was because a name never came up that fitted it. I guess I could have forced a name on it, but for some reason if the car or truck is was destined to have a name it will shake out all by its self. As I said, it is all about the personality of the car or truck.
When I ordered my 06 premium GT convertable, I had this friend. He was the best friend I ever had in my life. He taught me more about how to be a human being then anyone I had ever known. He taught me humility, compassion, patience, understanding and everlasting love. When I ordered the car he was dying of a brain tumor. I promised him that if he was still alive when I got the car I would name it after him. His name was Hank, and yes, he got to see the car. The first thing I showed him was the rear plate. It reads Hank Jr. I miss him so much that even now I'm tearing up and that was over three years ago. His ashes will be scattered with mine. He was my heart. He was my dog.
mine's name is Shadow.. not just for it being all black .. but because sometimes it seems to slide right by places and not get CAUGHT ... lol i want my lic. plate to read SHADOW but idk how to get it that way lol

The 03 Cobra was named Black Magic by my ex. I think it fits. . .
I re-named my 95GT to DD as in daily driver lol. It was named "Black Dog" Named from a friend since it was black, and it was a dog (meaning it was slow. . . I had to agree, the 94-95's were dog's stock) I like to say it was named after a pirate! ARRRGGG
Mine is named "Gracie," because this car is like a divine blessing. The AFM nickname SnoPony has a double meaning: "Sno" is short for Snohomish County, where I live. Also, back in December we had a huge snowstorm and I found out how well Gracie handles in snow & ice, thanks to traction control, ABS and Pirelli Mud&Snows. So I was calling her "my snow pony." (and now it won't seem to stop snowing)
My last mustang my 83 gt t-tops four speed,i called her sally you know mustang sally.Kind of corny but i thought it fit her.Dont have a name for my 89 LX yet gotta think of one.
