Hey Fuzzy...How about someplace Like Cape May in New Jersey?
Some nice parks and lodging for overnight guests.
That would be a really nice place I am sure but that's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down there....lol
5 hour drive for me, which I would do.....but if there are any others from New England that wanted to attend they might not want to do that long a drive.
Great idea! For me, it depends where - Cape May is a no go... and my work schedule - if we are busy, I am working on weekends... There's just no way around that - a meet up in the evening is a possibility if that's the case!
If you plan it right - there are lots of various meets and cruise in's in NJ!
My favorite is The Whiskey Cafe in Lyndhurst. On a beautiful Saturday night it is packed with everyone showing off their rides... Hotels and dining conveniently located as well as centrally located - for those who might want to jaunt off to NYC...
There is also a huge event in NJ called Lead East...
Cool idea Gary!!

That Whiskey Cafe looks awesome....my only concern is that it's northern NJ so that might keep some people from furthur south from coming up for the meet.
But it would be great if we could meet at a specific loacation and then cruise up to the Whiskey Cafe for the show. And if there are places to stay nearby that would be perfect.
Lyndhurst is appx 4 hours for me...I think I can manage that
It will be an overnight trip for sure.
Do you think that we can pull this off sometime in June?
As long as it is not on the last weekend in the month I can probabaly make it.

I think June is a great month for this for a couple of reasons. First there's a good chance it won't be sweltering temps. Second, I want to enjoy myself and if I haven't found a job yet I won't be in panic mode until the end of July or so....lol.
I was just thinking about this yesterday.
I will be interestd..remember we have judi in new jersey also.
What about me!!!?!?!?!?!
I am totally up for a cruise to meet you guys!!! I have every saturday and sunday off from work, i just need prior notice to get permission from the gf, or heck, i'd bring her
My club the NJ Stangers are going on a 175 mile cruise through PA in a few weeks. We cruised down to Seaside on the jersey shore last fall. Its a great group and we had over 70 mustangs meet-up in seaside last fall. TGI Fridays almost passed out when they say 100 hungry stangers show up hehe

Yes that would be Saturday, June 20......my mistake. So we can just say the first official weekend of Summer.
So we have the date and the place.
I am thinking we could all meet up somewhere earlier in the day and hang out for a bit, then cruise on over to the Whiskey Cafe. I was thinking one of the parking lots at the Meadowlands Sports Complex which is less than 4 miles from the Whiskey Cafe.
The Saturday Classic show starts at 5 pm so we can all decide what time to gather at the Meadowlands. I'm thinking to shoot for anywhere from 2:00 to 3:00 pm to give everyone time to arrive. We can always head over to the Whiskey early anyway.
