Hey everyone, definitely, meadowlands parking lot isn't a good idea.
If everyone can meet at the Medieval parking lot or the parking lot across from the Whiskey Cafe, that would work as well.......there is a very big parking lot there.
You can also meet on 17 south in a parking lot for any of the major stores.....let me know what you prefer and I will try to help you all since I'm local.

How about everybody meets at the parking lot across the street from Whiskey, this way everyone doesn't have to print out 2 sets of directions. You just go to whiskey and hop across the street to the meeting place. Makes things simpler for everyone.

This sounds like the best solution. Since I have never been to The Whiskey I don't know what the parking is like around there. I know they have lots for the car show.....would this be one of those lots or is this lot totally separate ?
This lot is across the street, not linked to it but when the place gets packed, thats the next area to fill up. Like I said, Hotshot will let me know and I will try my club members to block spots off for all of us to park together
What does the parking lot at The Courtyard By Mariot look
like? If they have Convention and meeting room facilities they
may have an oversized lot. Just a thought as I have never been there either.

Have no idea.....the original post mentioned meeting at the Meadowlands between 2-3 PM....but if we are going to meet at the lot across from The Whiskey should we make it later like around 4 pm ?
I've got approx 15 mustangs on my other forum already coming. This is gonna be sweet!!!:bigth umbsup
Wow....when I came up with this idea I figured we might get 7 or 8 people that would accept.
This is turning into a small Northeast corridor Mustang show....lol.
So as it stands right now, we will all plan to meet at the parking lot across the street from The Whiskey.....we just need to finalize the time. Should we give a one hour window ? Since The Whiskey's show starts at 5:30 how does 3:30 - 4:30 pm sound so that everyone is there 1 hour before we scout out places to park in the show lot ?
Everyone really WANTS to come but in reality you should get 40% turnout, but that's more than you had planned for anyway. It started out as a more focused meet, with S197'ers from AFM but its snowballed a "small Northeast corridor Mustang show" but if this thing comes together it till be it will be VERY kool. If we organize it so that all the Generations to park with one another it will looke even better.
I met a bunch of guys from a local forum this weekend at a show, its great to finally put a face to the person and see their Stangs up close, alot of fun.

I agree but I can bet I can get about 25 or more from my club to come so just give it time.....best way would be to ask the admins to mass email all the users and let them know about this event so we can make it very big....we can always cruise up and down 17 and go eat somewhere as well if plans change due to weather or anything.
Let me know the final time of the initial meeting spot - so I can update the 1st post with the correct info!
Judi....I sent you a PM with the meeting time of between 3:00 and 4:00 PM at the lot across the street from The Whiskey Cafe. Originally I thought 3:30 - 4:30 but then thought, why make it too tight a timeline if the Whiskey show starts at 5:30. If every one is there 90 minutes before the show starts we can have first pick of where we can all park for the show so we can stay together.
But if that's too early we could go back to the 3:30 - 4:30 time frame. I'd rather leave a little more time than squeeze it.
Sounds great to me - I'll change the first post to reflect that in the AM (little nutty here at work today!!), but will check back here to see if you have any more replies!
