Talking Make yourself a REAL Mach 1 Mustang

[Now hold you fire. I know you can only do so much with a designed addition package. But I think this will make it look better.]

While looking at the poster in my room of the 2003 Mach 1 doing a burnout and then looking at the classic Mach 1 Mustangs, I'm noticing they really didn't make the new ones look old.

So, while looking around at different parts catalogs, people who own the 1994-1998 Mustang will have a great chance to make their cars look like classics.

The first thing to do is to replace the front fascia will the Stallion bumper and do not put fog lights in em. Or, if you don't want to change it, you can just add the BOSS SHINODA chin spoiler and paint it flat black.

Then, everyone Mach 1 I've seen doesn't have the "Running Pony" in the grille. You'll need the Mustang Emblem grille. I've seen em at Cal-Mustang.

Now with the chin spoiler, they got that right. But, It won't fit the stallion bumper so, your on your own there.

Moving on to the hood, you'll need to get the stipe that runs from the beggining of the hood all the down to the end. Then, you'll need to add the shaker hood scoop. (Another point they got right.) Or, you can add the Stalker Ram Air hood from Cervini's Auto Designs And paint parts of the hood and then run a pin stripe around it.

If you got the Ram Air hood, run the classic hockey stripe down the body and then put "Mach 1 Mustang" under the stipe.

Don't forget to add the window louvers and a "Daytona Wing" I saw from abcexclusive.com (Saw the ad from MM&FF and they had a classic looking one.)

For those of you who have a 1999-2003 Mustang, you can pretty much follow the same guidlines as the 2003 Mach 1, just add add the Bullitt Side scoops. That will give it the "shaved" look of the 1970-1973 Mach 1.'s. And I'm sure you can add the Stallion Bumper to the 1999-2003 with minor work.

As far as the engine goes, if you can shove 428 CJ engine into a SN95, MORE POWER TO YOU!

For rims, just go old school. Not that the new Heritage rims are bad, just not my style.

And use your own imagination as far as the interior goes.

Just my opinion on how to make a better nastolgia (sp?) Mach 1. Now if someone wants to get real tricky, someone can alter the side scoop on the 94-98 Mustangs and move them up to the top and then alter the door and move the lines up to the top. Just depends on how far you want to go.

Well if you know someone good at photoshop we can all see what he finished product would look like

One word of note though...Not all Mach I's in 1970 had the shakeer scoupe. I had a 70 that didn't have it and mine had a 351C 4BBL It was a option.

Seems you guys know a lot about Mach 1's... I've got an 04 v6 and I'm about to pick up a wrecked 04 mach 1... and I'm about to start swapping everything... how would you guys go about doing this.. Like i mean in what order would you swap everything around...?
