In case anyone hasn't already read the article in the new Car & Driver magazine regarding the 03 Cobra, here's some of the more interesting details.

0-60 in 4.5 seconds
0-100 in 10.4 seconds
0-150 in 30.5 seconds (WOW)
1/4-mile 12.9 seconds @ 111 mph

It also compares the 03 Cobra times to these 3 cars in a graph

Chevrolet Corvette
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS
AUDI TT

The 03 Cobra beat them all in the 1/4-mile barely edging out the Corvette, and the Cobra beat all but the Corvette in 0-60 in which the Corvette barely edged out the 03 Cobra.

Interesting read, in which the testers seem to feel that the 03 Cobra is a better overall ride than the 00 Cobra R. I would encourage anyone to pick up the mag it's a good read

I think those times are conservativly rated. I can't wait til MM&FF or 5.0 Mustang get a hold of an 03' Cobra. Both of them managed to get 13.30's-13.60's out of the 01' Cobra, but this one has a blower, with 70 more HP, and more importantly for the 1/4 mile, TORQUE. I would not be suprised to see mid 12's from these cars in stock form, especially with the MM&FF drivers.

In the new Motor Trend, they have a small sort of reveiw of the articel that they did, where they said SVT has it's sights on the BMW M3.They said when they road tested the 03 Cobra, it felt like a Porsche Boxter, only larger, and that it definatly would have no probelms on the acceleration/speed side against the Beamer (Break My Windows)

I like the car, to have just that much HP for lower cost than others... the one thing i dont like that i think will be the weak link will be the CV axles.

I saw a Z06 go 12.8/12.7 at national trails Car had 58 thats right 58 miles on it with windo sticker on it said thay jest drove it from dealer. NO MAG tune on that vet.

Well MM&FF did the 03 Cobra test, 12.66@110 mph. Very impressed with this car.

I beleive the CV axles were redesigned so thats probably not an issue any more.
