On vacation, but not missing my Mustang very much.
The wife and I have been in Fort Worth Texas since last Friday. This is where I was raised, and all my family is in this area. Friggin hot though. the 105 degree heat is a bit different than the 93 degree heat in Florida. But, the trip has been even more enjoyable because my dad let us borrow his recently acquired 2007 Shelby GT.
I feel like I have been cheating on my GT. but, the time away from my own car has been easier knowing I have full access to this Shelby.

HAHA come on now. Texas is not that hot. I have lived here (Snyder, Texas ....West Texas. Just very far west of Fort Worth) ever since I was born. (im 17 ). But hey, thats a nice Shelby GT.

It is lowered, but i don't know if it comes that way or if it was done later. fun to drive though. the car has been fun to drive. lots of people take notice.
and it does get that hot here in DFW. only difference between DFW in the summertime and hell is in DFW you still have a chance to get into heaven.

he has been a Mustang freak for as long as I can remember. he had a 69 Mach 1 before I was born, then he and my mom bought a 66 notch, then they had a 74 II, then another 69 Mach, now this Shelby.
I guess you could say I got it from my dads side.

my GT is faster, but that Shelby is better looking.
The heat was killer, but we landed in Florida last night and the humidity was off the charts! give me 105 degrees any day over this humidity.

agreed!!im from a dry heat town.i cant stand humidity
