Smile 4.56 Gears 1999 Cobra Help

Hello all, I am just trying to find a pair of 3.73 that someone would be willing to trade for some 4.56? Im gonna be doing about 2000 miles of travel in the stang and am not looking forward to having the engine run so high for so long, Its time to downgrade. Would anyone see any problems with running them 2000 miles? Whats everyones input? Could that possibly damage components? Thanks again everyone.

Travis

PS, Didnt want to put into classifieds because im going to have to have 3.73s before I pull out 4.56s and send? If that makes sense? Take 3.73s to shop, have him pull others out, put new ones in and send old ones wherever. Thanks all!

3.73s should work well on a long trip like that. Should be a good all around gear for your setup.

Yeah you could drive that far on them. Just go 45 the whole way Personally I wouldn't drive that far with the engine revving up that high. Im sure it would make it but it would just make me nervous.
