Angry I feel screwed. I won't even get to drive my car.

Every Sunday morning me and my dad go to my aunts house. Lately he's been letting me drive his truck, (Which I hate. I can't drive it. The clutch it all messed up.)

So he asks if I had my permit and I said, "Yea, but I don't wanna drive the truck." Then he says, "Better get used to it goes it might be yours."

WTF! You buy me a Stang and won't even let me drive it. Not like it's paided for. They want me to make payments on a car I won't be able to drive.

I know why this is happening. One word. Insurance. Damn Honda has their head shoved so far up their ass every teenage guy can only afford to drive a Civic. And the only people who can afford to drive a Mustang, Camaro, Trans Am, Firebird are girls and old men.

Look around and see who drive Mustangs next time your out on the road. I tell you right now, it will be a girl in the drivers seat.

So, my mom wants me to drive this old beat up 92 Ford Tempo I can't even sit in, that has an oil leak in the rear main, and the tranny won't even shift right.

So, instead I said to my dad, why don't you give me the old 74 F100. (351W, Automatic) Surely I can afford to drive it. The whole truck is falling apart. Then he goes onto this rant about not having enough money to pay for insurance on all the cars.

Well, it's not like I'm not gonna pave my own way. I don't need takeouts. I don't take handouts. I don' wanna be like my sister. I want to earn my step everyway.

I'm starting to think gettin that 98 was a mistake.

thats why im getting a civic now... my inurance for one point will only go up - get this 500 a year...not bad 50 a month... but if i got a 2nd point it would go up 450 a MONTH .... or thats what i was told, that still doesnt sound right...so im getting a civic hatch, 96' and im going to get a B18C5 motor for it... thats 200hp ...but that will take a year or 2 to get the money...trust me i know your pain...mustangs arnt cheap to drive, thats why ill have to join the ricer crowd 2 so i can put the civic as my primary driver...but dont worry ill still drive the stang around more

I fork over 1000 bucks every six months. Full coverage. It's expensive, but its worth it to hear that Mustang rumble every morning.

Why is that ?? There are plenty of jobs out there for about 6 to 7 dollars an hour that should apply to you. Do yourself a favor though and get a job doing some manual labor, or you'll turn into one of those lazy fatass crybabies who complain about everything. All of the jobs I've had have been labor intesive, so I've learned to appreciate money better than if I was baggin groceries somewhere.

Hey. I resemble the old guy remark.(38) We've all been there.

I'd much rather drive the '74 with the 351, or the Tempo with the seal leak than walk 7 miles in the rain with a head wind.(up hill both ways)
Learn to fix the leak. The Tempo gets great mileage.

When I was in H.S. I got to drive a '72 F-250 that had 172K on it and got a whopping 3 miles to the gallon.(What was I thinking?)

There a machine/motor cycle shop I wanna check out. And then there's two quick oil change palces I'd rather work at. And one oil change place is right next to the high school. And I've had five people tell me not to work a Kroger. It's more than the pay.

To fix the leak I'll need a grand to get a hoist, engine stand, then al lthe parts to rebuild the engine. That's the only fix. Nothing else is working.

I didn't catch the transmission shift statement. Sorry.

Ever hear of Niki Lauda. He worked in a full service shop. Started out with the broom, and then one day did an oil change. Stripped the threads.

Now he own's his own airline.lol Was a great driver too.
