Yeah the stang beat them in a magazine comparison as well, Car and Driver I think. Its cool that Ford beat them both with the smallest engine, although thats not the only thing the test is about.

That's pretty cool. Little by little the car that is always the target for poo-pooers is getting some respect.

Regardless of how they rate or who likes them I'll always have a Stang in the garage. It's in the blood.

The genesis, 370z and impreza are NOT muscle cars, so why the hell are they being compared with the other three?!

It's good to hear the mustang is beating all of them. Less power and torque, yet better handling, interior, transmission and just overall a better car! Go Ford!

Perfect example right there of why we love these cars!

I acquired a 66 through marriage but we didn't buy our first Mustang together until we got our 96GT in 1999. It took me 29 years to get one but I did!

i think the new ones are growing on me the more i see them. at first i didnt like them at all, but from a few different angles they look pretty mean. i gave up my 67 back in 77, so it took me 31 years to get back into one. i wish i coulda had a v8, but this ones fun to drive too.

We have one at my school now. It's pretty exciting. It worries me though that the person parked half way in the traffic aisle (Bumper sticking way out) in the busiest lot on campus though. Though I'd hate to say it, that makes me think it's a gift from the parent's so the person has little to no respect for the vehicle. I'd be a mile away from civilization with that thing.
