Was looking at a 2003 s281 for sale..looks super clean and is supercharged...Was wondering how much power these cars make? Anyone ever been in one/owns one that will tell about it? Thanks!

The 2003 is about 365 or 375 HP. I have a 2002 and I absolutely love that car.

Hey and thanks for the reply, and apoligies if I throw too many questions at you haha. (questions not limited to jim of course!) I have owned s197's before but this is my first time jumping into another model.

How does she handle? If you've been in a s197 mustang gt, do the saleens give a little more oomph?

I notice the redline begins at 5,500 rpms, however in many videos the 02s to 04s sound like they rev out a little higher than that, possibley 6,000 or a little higher. Is the redline actually higher than 5,500 and if so is it safe to rev past 5,500?

I can find many of these things out when i go and drive the car, the only problem is patience!...the car is very far away, so I just want to have a few thoughts made up before i head over there. Thanks again, love to hear anything there is to say about these cars!
